Marco Ceroni’s research originates from a fascination with urban spaces and subcultural imaginaries—the periphery, rave culture, and the scooter as an iconic object—which he reinterprets through a wide range of techniques and materials. His work occupies a territory between reality and plausibility, where metropolitan scenarios, genre cinema, and autobiographical references coexist within fragmented images of a distorted and reassembled everyday life. Selected solo exhibitions include SLAG at GALLLERIAPIÙ, Bologna (2020), and Late Night Show at GALLLERIAPIÙ, Bologna (2017). Group exhibitions include The Great Learning, curated by Marco Scotini at Triennale Milano (2017), as well as exhibitions at ADI Design Museum, Milan, PAV in Turin, and A+A Gallery in Venice. He completed a BA in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and an MA in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies at NABA in Milan. He lives and works in Milan.
