Farhad Orouji is a sculptor with a broad academic background. After earning a degree in Art from the University of Art in Tehran in 2005, he completed a degree in Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence in 2009 and a postgraduate degree in Sculpture at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in 2012. Between 2000 and 2006, he taught at several art institutions in Tehran, and in 2007 he collaborated on the restoration of fifty early twentieth-century frescoes in the Veneto region. Since 2013, he has taught Sculpture at OD’A’s Palestra Artistica and at the Brera Academy in Milan. He has presented six solo exhibitions and more than sixty group exhibitions across Italy and Iran, receiving numerous awards in sculpture and painting. He lives and works in Milan.
