Matteo Negri’s practice focuses on the perceptual role of surface and colour in both sculpture and two-dimensional work. He explores geometry, chromatic variability, and mirror reflection as estranging devices capable of altering the ordinary perception of volume and space, introducing a gap between expectation and actual vision. Born in San Donato Milanese, he lives and works in Milan.
