Matteo Montani’s painting develops as an investigation into space, light, and the immaterial dimension of the image. Following his early exhibitions and the Suzzara Prize in 2001, he presented solo exhibitions at galleries and museums including L’Attico in Rome, Marilena Bonomo in Bari, Museum am Dom in Würzburg, Museo Andersen in Rome, and Galleria Valentina Bonomo. He participated in the Rome Quadriennale in 2008 and received the Michetti Prize in 2018. He lives and works in Rome.
