Vincenzo Luca Picone’s research stems from a reflection on everyday life understood as a living theatre, focusing on the role of tradition and the ways in which it continues to shape community relationships and contemporary forms of experience. Trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, he was awarded the fifth Fondazione Pini Fellowship for a research period in Mexico, further developing a project initiated through the Leonardo da Vinci programme of the Italian Ministry of Education. He lives and works between Italy and Mexico.
