Ambra Castagnetti’s practice moves across sculpture, photography, tattooing, and audiovisual media, focusing on natural forms that evoke archaic gestures and memories layered within the apparent senselessness of contemporary life. The accumulation of gestures, lived experiences, and traversed places forms an intricate network through which the artist navigates and reconsiders the world through images, constructing a visual archive suspended between residue and presence. Born in Genoa, she lives and works in Milan.
