“La mano che bisognerà stringersi per salutarsi, congratularsi e darsi fiducia. Adesso è chiusa e si fa forza da sola. Un viaggio intorno ad una mano chiusa che cela il nostro futuro”.

Marco Andrea Magni’s sculpture unfolds along a path that moves from moral philosophy towards artistic reflection, finding its centre in an encounter with the other as both interlocutor and measure. His works appear as ways of inhabiting the world: they adapt themselves to its forms, embracing the dimensions necessary to dwell within them. He participated in philosophy seminars led by Giorgio Agamben and architectural history seminars with Roberto Masiero at IUAV University of Venice, and attended the postgraduate programme in Visual Arts at Fondazione Antonio Ratti in Como under Richard Nonas. Selected solo exhibitions include Un mondo tutto all’aperto with Alice Cattaneo at Building Gallery, Milan (2026), Fuggisole at Galleria FuoriCampo, Siena (2019), and Ho sempre agito per dispetto at Loom Gallery, Milan (2017). He holds a degree from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and an FSE Master’s qualification in the Organisation and Communication of Visual Arts. He lives and works in Milan.
