Benni Bosetto’s practice spans drawing, sculpture, installation, and performance, exploring human experience and questions of identity through a focus on the physicality of bodies. Desire, sexuality, presence, and vulnerability emerge as fields of investigation, generating a layered and intimate imaginary in which individuals, organisms, and animal species coexist and contaminate one another. The body is understood as an active instrument of engagement with the world and as a form of resistance to conventional ways of conceiving it. In 2026, she presented her first major institutional exhibition, Rebecca, at Pirelli HangarBicocca in Milan, curated by Fiammetta Griccioli. Previous exhibitions include presentations at MAMbo Bologna (2022), Almanac, Turin (2020), Fonderia Artistica Battaglia, Milan (2018), Fondazione Baruchello, Rome (2018), and OGR Turin (2018). She studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. She lives and works in Milan.
