Emma Rose Hodne’s practice developed in Oslo before relocating to Milan, where she undertook a residency at VIR Viafarini-in-Residence in collaboration with Carola Provenzano, exploring the intersection of poetry and visual art as a shared field of inquiry. Her work investigates the relationship between language, mark-making, and image, moving fluidly between textual and visual dimensions. She studied Visual Arts at the Strykejernet Art School in Oslo. She lives and works in Milan.
