Meris Angioletti’s research focuses on mechanisms of perception, memory, psyche, and voice through sound and light installations, video, slide projections, and performative lectures. Her work unfolds through processes of translation—numbers into images, images into gestures, gestures into memories, memories into colours—forming a circular yet discontinuous chain of parallel languages. In 2008, she was artist-in-residence at the Pavillon of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and in 2010 she received the New York Prize. She participated in the São Paulo Biennial in 2012 and the Venice Biennale in 2011. She is a researcher at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and CFP Bauer and lives and works in Paris.
