Angelo Iodice’s research develops at the intersection of chemistry, archaeology, and visual art. Holding a degree in Chemistry from the University of Bari, he investigates chemical events as aesthetic phenomena, cataloguing them while awaiting the outcomes of interactions between elements. His study of archaeology, ancient pagan rituality, and physics leads him to reactivate primordial sensations through physicochemical formulas. Recent projects include Paraclausithyron, developed during a residency at Palazzo Monti, Brescia (2019); Del tempo e degli specchi, focused on the notions of the doppelgänger and heterotopic space at TOMAV Tower in Moresco; and Pietra Liquida at ARTDate Bergamo (2019). He lives and works in Milan.
