Angelo Mosca’s practice combines artistic production and intellectual inquiry within a cosmopolitan perspective encompassing painting, writing, curating, and the promotion of cultural debate. He began exhibiting in the 1990s and, in 2009, founded Galleria/Galleria in Ortona, a non-profit critical space that has become a meeting point for artists, thinkers, and poets through exhibitions, residencies, and international exchanges. Among its initiatives is the En plein air project, which has brought together painters from across Europe. Together with Michele Tocca, he curated Pittura Italiana e altre storie minori at the Musei di Villa Torlonia in Rome in 2015. He graduated in Communication Studies with a thesis in sociology and lives and works between Ortona, Castel di Ieri, and Milan.
