Paola Angelini’s practice moves across painting, performance, and installation, driven by a sustained engagement with Northern European artistic culture. In 2011, she exhibited in the Norwegian Pavilion at the 54th Venice Biennale as part of Baton Sinister. She participated in two residencies at the Nordic Artists’ Centre Dale in Norway (2014 and 2016) and in the residency programme of Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice. In 2017, she earned an MA in Fine Arts from KASK Conservatorium in Ghent. She graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence in 2010 and lives and works in San Benedetto del Tronto.
