Christian Balzano

Christian Balzano’s research spans painting, sculpture, and installation, with a particular interest in themes of identity, memory, and material resilience. He participated in the 14th Curitiba Biennial at the Oscar Niemeyer Museum in Brazil (2019) and the 4th Bienal del Fin del Mundo in Valparaíso, Chile (2015). Selected solo exhibitions include Resilience at Banca Generali, Treviso (2018); A pelle viva at Palazzo Grifoni, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di San Miniato (2016); and I Flood Myself with Light of the Immense at Lolli e Memmoli, Milan (2015). He graduated in Glass and Crystal Art from the Art Institute of Pisa in 1987 and later attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. He lives and works in Tuscany.
