Edoardo Dionea Cicconi’s practice encompasses installation, sculpture, sound, and photography, investigating themes of the unconscious, transformation, and eternity through geometry and the perception of light. Glass is his material of choice—prisms, mirrored surfaces, and optical matrices through which he explores relationships between space, time, and physical forces. His XYZT cycle, informed by contemporary physics, seeks to synthesise concepts of space and time and their continuous becoming. In 2018, as part of the collective DUSKMANN, he presented Prelude at Manifesta 12 in Palermo, installed within the Church of Madonna della Misericordia. He co-founded DUSKMANN in 2015 and studied philosophy before embarking on his artistic career in 2011. He lives and works between Milan and Palermo.
