Gioia Di Girolamo’s practice unfolds through painting, installation, and imaginative processes that intertwine organic, psychological, and symbolic elements. A co-founder of the independent space ULTRASTUDIO between Pescara and Los Angeles, she has exhibited internationally at venues including Galleria Bianconi in Milan, PetCokeGallery in Detroit, 55SP Gallery in São Paulo, Hold Residency in Tokyo, the MAH Museum in Angra do Heroísmo, and Like a Little Disaster in Polignano a Mare. In 2017, she participated in the Re_Act Contemporary Art Laboratory residency in the Azores. She lives and works in Los Angeles.
