Diane Dal-Pra

Diane Dal-Pra’s painting constructs monumental scenes in which bodies and objects share the same compact and sensitive material presence. Through large-scale oil paintings, she places figures, surfaces, and everyday presences in tension, transforming reality into a constellation of forms suspended between intimacy and theatricality. Her almost sculptural treatment of the image creates a sense of permanence and stillness, as though everything had been crystallised within a single living block. She lives and works in Paris.
