Enrico Boccioletti’s transdisciplinary practice develops along the boundaries between material subjectivity and intangible potential, producing an unstable output that ranges from environmental installation and performance to video, text, image, and music. His work explores the contradiction of existing as a biologically mediated and regulated body confronted with a landscape of hybrid, digital, and mineral entities. Themes include the post-human condition, the consequences of encounters between technology and intimacy, empathy at the margins of verbal and non-verbal communication, and the perception of the self as a digital identity. He has collaborated with MAXXI Rome, ZKM Karlsruhe, OGR Turin, the Rome Quadriennale, La Plage Paris, Parco Arte Vivente Turin, Carroll/Fletcher London, and MAMbo Bologna. He lives and works in Milan.
