Alex Urso works across collage, diorama, and installation through a practice of appropriation, centred on the recovery and revitalisation of pre-existing images in a manner that is at once delicate and voracious. From 2012 to 2019, he lived in Warsaw, where he was active as a curator. Since 2014, he has been a contributing editor for Artribune. In 2017, he curated the Biennale de La Biche, the self-proclaimed smallest art biennial in the world. He lives and works in San Benedetto del Tronto.
