Maurizio Bongiovanni has received significant institutional recognition throughout his career. In 2012, he won the GAI – Giovani Artisti Italiani award and participated in a residency at Fundación Valparaíso in Spain. In 2013 and 2014, he was invited to Fondazione Spinola Banna per l’Arte, where he worked alongside artists including Doug Ashford, Liliana Moro, and Mario Airò. In 2014, he attended the Internationale Sommerakademie in Salzburg under the guidance of Felix Gmelin. His work has been featured in publications such as Nature Morte by Thames & Hudson and L’Uomo Vogue. He lives and works between Milan and London.
