Davide Allieri’s practice spans sculpture, installation, drawing, photography and performance, drawing on cinema, theatre and science fiction to construct dystopian environments where shells, containment systems and surveillance technologies coexist as relics of a possible, post-apocalyptic future. His sculptures — often hollow, often in fibreglass — function as containers rather than solid objects: the void at their core is the conceptual core of the work, holding memory and potentiality in suspension. The vocabulary of the everyday — pylons, helmets, drones — is reworked into alien forms that hover between the organic and the inorganic, prompting reflection on the coordinates of space and time and on the fragility of contemporary civilisation.

He graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan in 2008, and from 2014 to 2016 was Assistant Professor on the Visual Art course at NABA. Recent solo and two-person presentations include *After All*, curated by Damiano Gullì at Triennale Milano (2024), *47°24’35’’N / 9°44’20’’E* at Kunstraum Dornbirn (2026), *HOLDER*, curated by Alessandro Rabottini at Palazzo Monti, Brescia (2023), *CELLS* at Galerie Hubert Winter, Vienna (2023), and *Nexus* at Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler, Berlin (2024). In 2024 he won the viennacontemporary Bildrecht SOLO Award. He lives and works in Milan.
