MASBEDO is an artistic duo formed by Nicolò Massazza (Milan, 1973) and Iacopo Bedogni (Sarzana, 1970), who have worked together since 1999 in the fields of visual art and installation. Their practice explores cinematic narrative through new technologies, producing immersive and site-specific works that delve into the subjectivity of characters and the failures of human communication. They have collaborated with writer Michel Houellebecq and the band Marlene Kuntz. Their film Tralalà was presented at the Giornate degli Autori section of the Venice International Film Festival in 2012. They have exhibited at MAXXI Rome, Centre Pompidou Paris, Tate Modern London, MoMA New York, Manifesta 12 Palermo, and the Venice Biennale (2009). They live and work between Milan and Piacenza.
