Stefania Batoeva’s painting occupies a post-conceptual territory marked by cool irony and a sensitivity to popular culture and digital media. Selected solo exhibitions include Still No Masterplan at Almanac Projects, London (2013); Angela Is Sliding at Galeria Nicodim, Bucharest (2014); Paul at Sariev Contemporary, Plovdiv (2014); and Club Caligula with Ilja Karilampi, Leslie Kulesh, and Isaac Lythgoe at Supplement, London (2015). She also exhibited in You Will Find Me If You Want Me in the Garden at Galerie Valentin, Paris (2015). She lives and works in London.
