In Giovanni Oberti’s work, time operates through accumulation and stratification: memory, emotional sedimentation, and the gradual revelation of what surrounds the artist and becomes charged with meaning beneath a veil—sometimes tangible, sometimes immaterial, yet always perceptible. Dust, water, organic residue, and worn objects become active agents within a poetics in which process remains visible in the final form. Selected solo exhibitions include I muri sentono l’amore e la rabbia, ma anche la solitudine e la malattia at Palazzo Brancadoro, Fermo; La pelle degli oggetti at Galleria Milano; Laghi di aceto at TILE Project Space, Milan; and Onorarono at Munich Kunstverein. He graduated in New Technologies for Art from the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo in 2006 and lives and works in Milan.
