Beatrice Marchi’s practice spans video, performance, painting, and animation, exploring identity roles within group dynamics in order to question gender stereotypes and moral and professional definitions. Her work has been presented at institutions including Museion, Bolzano; Fondazione Prada in Milan and Tokyo; MAXXI L’Aquila; MACRO Rome; PAC Milan; MAMbo Bologna; Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin; Palazzo Reale, Milan; Performance Space, New York; and the 16th Rome Quadriennale. In 2023, she won the ArteVisione Prize with the project La Compagnia. She studied under Alberto Garutti at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and under Jutta Koether at the HFBK Hamburg, where she earned her MFA in 2017. She lives and works between Berlin and Milan.
