Corrado Levi is an architect, artist, writer, critic, curator, and collector—a central figure in the Milanese art scene of the 1980s, described by Marco Meneguzzo as the “supreme mover” of that generation. A student of Carlo Mollino, under whom he graduated, and an assistant to Franco Albini, he taught Architectural Composition at the Politecnico di Milano. During the Nazi-Fascist period, he was hidden among the students of Felice Casorati at the Accademia Albertina in Turin. Since the 1980s, he has curated exhibitions in his Milan studio and in cultural institutions, supporting successive generations of artists. He was also among the protagonists of the Italian gay liberation movement. His publications include Mes amis! Mes amis! (Corraini, 2007). He received the In-Arch Prize for architecture and is a Silver Glove champion in French Savate boxing. He lives and works between Milan and Marrakech.
