Giuseppe Costa’s practice functions as a kind of atlas of emotional geography: drawings of ethereal materiality that investigate the geographical reality of places in relation to the banalisation of landscape as a state of mind. Romantic suggestion, exploration of the unknown, and a fascination with the aesthetics of space imagery converge in a personal visual language open to multiple interpretations. He graduated in Painting and Restoration from the ABADIR Academy in San Martino delle Scale before completing a specialist degree in Visual Arts at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. He lives and works in Milan.
