Sophie Spedding’s painting focuses on amplified and theatrical bodies, constructing narratives that explore desire, sexuality, and degradation. Through large-scale oil paintings, she stages monumental figures suspended between attraction and vulnerability, inhabiting a space that is both physical and psychological. She graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art in 2019. She lives and works in London.
