Patrick Tuttofuoco’s practice engages in a continuous dialogue between individuals and their capacity to transform the environments they inhabit, exploring ideas of community and social integration. Blending Modernist and Pop influences, his work pushes figuration towards abstraction, taking the human being as a paradigm of existence, a matrix and unit of measure for reality itself. From this interpretative process emerge endless variations of both individual and inhabited context, generating forms that bring his sculptures to life. Born in Milan, he lives and works between Italy and abroad.
