Federico Cantale
Federico Cantale’s practice develops at the intersection of comics, 3D illustration, and painted sculpture. His works are conceived as unique objects intended to be experienced in the round, combining meticulous formal design with a painting process executed entirely by hand. The chromatic language of his sculptures draws inspiration from both the cinematic worlds of Christopher Nolan and the legacy of Italian Futurism. The strength of his work lies in its ability to unite a fascination with popular culture and auteur cinema with an architectural precision of conception. His work is represented by Federica Schiavo Gallery, and he lives and works in Milan.
