“Disegno biciclette e ciclisti perché rappresentano la vita: il movimento, la fatica, l’arrivo e la ripartenza”.

Luca Di Maggio’s practice moves between street art and painting on paper and cardboard—often reclaimed and recycled materials—combining the gestural dynamism of urban culture with techniques drawn from the classical tradition in a search for balance between spontaneity and form. He has lived and worked in Vienna, New York, Tel Aviv, and Boston, where he attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA). His work has been exhibited in Italy and abroad, including a solo exhibition at VAP Venice Art Project (2017) and a residency at Casa degli Artisti in Milan (2024). He graduated in Graphic Design from the Istituto di Arti Grafiche Rizzoli in Milan in 2003 and lives and works in Milan.
