Giuliano Sale’s sculptural and installation-based practice is built upon an almost obsessive attention to the presence of objects. Every element within a space—a T-shirt, a pair of sunglasses, a telephone left inside a shoe—contains its own internal logic, which the artist follows rather than imposes upon. The resulting works function even when they appear to escape control. He lives and works in Milan.
