Pasquale De Sensi
Pasquale De Sensi’s practice combines a surreal and imaginative visual language with a sense of composition grounded in formal balance and in the affinities and contrasts between symbols. His collages draw upon elements borrowed from religious art, Renaissance portraiture, Dadaism, and the collage traditions of classic punk artists. He studied graphic design and painting, with a particular interest in art history and phenomenology, in Rome, Reggio Calabria, Urbino, and Perugia. Alongside collage—his preferred medium—he works with drawing, painting, and object assemblage. He lives and works in Lamezia Terme.
