Enrico Tealdi’s painting is a layered investigation of memory—of relationships, abandoned places, and forgotten objects—using photography as a foundation that is subsequently reworked with tempera and watercolour, alongside environmental installations employing wood, canvas, light, terracotta, and steel. Portraiture and landscape are his two central genres, inspired by sculpture and nature and united by the thread of remembrance. Selected solo exhibitions include Si cercano parole che nessuno dirà at MAR Ravenna (2016), Concerto per carillon at Galleria Francesca Antonini, Rome (2018), and participation in Pittura italiana oggi at Triennale Milano (2023). His works are held in the collections of the Quirinale, Fondazione Bartoli Felter, and MAR Ravenna. He graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cuneo and lives and works between Cuneo and Turin.
