Silvia Argiolas’s painting emerges from an introspective transformation of lived experience—events, smells, encounters—and is expressed through a powerful symbolism with archaic resonances, accompanied by sociological inquiry and an interest in modern Lacanian psychology. Solo exhibitions include Tragödie at Casa Testori, Novate Milanese (2019); Ti amo dal profondo del mio odio at Galleria Richter Fine Art, Rome (2019); Ragazze at ÖGGK, Vienna (2022); Song of My Self at Galleria Richter Fine Art (2022); Passano le nuvole si copre la luna di miele at Paolo Maria Deanesi Gallery (2023); and Walk on the Wild Side at Galleria Antonio Colombo, Milan (2014). She lives and works in Milan.
